Major new features

🌟 RetroAchievements

Log in with your RetroAchievements account and have it
sync your achievements along with rich presence and notifications. You can even view
achievements from the menu without running the game.

Hardcore mode achievements are not yet supported, as this project needs to exist for six
months per RetroAchievements’ policy.

🎮 PS1 memory card

Now supports PlayStation 1 memory cards. The card is a real 3D object that you slot into
the PlayStation. There is even a manager for all these cards. Keep multiple saves on one
card, move them to another card, back them up with RomM, or delete them off the card.

📡 HDHomeRun tuner support

Have an HDHomeRun with an antenna on your local network? Now it can automatically discover
it, set the source on your TV to the tuner, and use the CH up and down buttons to cycle
through your local channels.

🎮 Wii

Now there is a primitive model for the Wii, along with a sensor bar that you have to place
on your TV. This allows you to play a Wii game just like you would in real life! Pick up
the Wiimote and swing it around. You can even spawn in a Wii MotionPlus to attach to this
Wiimote and enjoy Wii MotionPlus games.

Spawn a Wii and Wiimote and then press the sync button on both to connect them, just like a
real Wii — press the sync button on the Wii first.

The Wii.

The Wii Remote. Its sync button sits under the battery cover.

See it in action on YouTube.

A Wii composite adapter must be used with the Wii for A/V out, which can now be spawned.

Unfortunately, due to limitations of libretro, Wii Nunchuk support isn’t in, where the
second accelerometer from the Nunchuk is used. I am trying to see if I can get a proposal
into RetroArch (libretro) that will allow for a standard way of having a “second” sensor on
a controller port.

A custom fork of Dolphin is now downloaded by the core manager which includes a fix for a
race condition on Android, IR passthrough for the sensor bar, and Wii MotionPlus gyro
fixes. Fork source is here.

🎮 3DS

A custom build is now provided which gives the 3D effect, which can be downloaded from the
core manager.

Fork source is
here. Although the
patch has already been merged upstream, nightly builds are not available as of the time of
this release.

✨ Minor new features

💿 Disc model

A model of each disc has been made for each system.

📺 TV

Sick and tired of swapping composite cables into a TV? Now there are four composite
inputs on a TV. Use the source button on the TV or remote to cycle through them.

TV now has an aspect ratio button to switch between 16:9 and 4:3.

Have an older game console like the NES? Hook up an NES RF adapter to the antenna input.

The ANT IN on the RF adapter is unused “for now 😉”.

🖥️ Desktop computer

Now has a primitive model for PS/2 mouse and keyboard plugs, as well as the VGA DE-15
port and the 3.5 mm TRS (lime) audio connector.

Spawn a monitor and speakers to connect the 3.5 mm audio connector and the VGA input to.

The speaker has a knob on it to adjust its volume.

🎮 ⌨️ 🖱️ Bluetooth controller / keyboard / mouse adapter

Have your own Bluetooth controller? Now in the Controllers tab, with automatic detection
of a connected controller, spawn a Controller Receiver which will forward all input
from that Bluetooth (or USB) controller to the system controller port that you plug it
into.

📋 Menu

Platforms which don’t have any core downloaded now show up as purple.

Compact tiles, and hiding a system from the Systems/Cartridges grids.

Options menu is now split into tabs.

Saves for a cartridge are now reachable from the spawn menu.

Graphics controls have been expanded.

Debug options have been added as well for debugging issues.

Secondary systems are now displayed: Satellaview, Sufami Turbo, Amiga CD32, Amiga CDTV,
Famicom Disk System, 64DD, SuperGrafx, PCE-CD, Atari 8-bit, SVI, 32X, SG-1000, Pico, Game
Gear and Sega CD (now systems in their own right rather than folded into others), Channel
F, Wii, and Game & Watch.

📦 Other

Haptic tick when a VR hand presses a key, button, or mouse click.

🐛 Bug and performance fixes

Numerous libretro crashes fixed.

Better Vulkan synchronization.

Fixed getting the correct disk image for a multi-disk game, where only the image for the
first disk was retrieved for all disks.

Fixed issue with downloading multi-file games from RomM.

Multiple fixes with saving and loading a room.

Many primitive model and collision adjustments.

Many, many other numerous things 😜

⚠️ Known issues

Dolphin with passthrough and Vulkan seems to leave odd artifacts on the screen, on Quest
only.

Select OpenGL ES 3 as the preferred HW renderer in the Core Manager options for
Dolphin.

Netplay is extremely experimental.
